One of my passions in life has always been helping others, I absolutely enjoy making a difference in someone’s life. I became interested in learning more and helping those families affected by this terrible disease when I became a respite care manager for The National Family Caregiver Support Program under The North Central Area Agency on Aging. I currently work with families mainly caregivers to provide them with respite services. From this experience, I have learned and experienced how this terrible disease can affect families and the person directly affected. I grew eager to learn more, collaborate and involve myself to better understand the disease and how I can better assist those families who are needing guidance and assistance.
